This post is a companion piece for my immediately prior post in which I present the facts whereby the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark A. Milley has a sworn obligation to defend the Constitution against "all threats" "domestic and foreign."
It is a simple statement of fact that Trump's many threats to the constitution are amply documented by anti-constitutional statements His Malignancy has made over the years - both in office and out.
Notably, all the threats made by Trump -- the threats mentioned in the following article -- are threats made before September, 2016.
Consequently, they do not include Trump's subsequent call to "terminate" the Constitution.
I will conclude this preface by pointing out that Trump (or anyone) does not need to breach the constitution in any practical way, although it appears that His Malignancy has breached the Constitution on many occasions,
For Milley (and all other US generals) to be bound by their oath to protect the constitution from Trump, it is only necessary that this malignant, metastatic man represent a "threat" to the constitution.
In legal parlance, the term "clear and present danger" comes to mind.
Anyone who does not acknowledge Trump's repeated threats to the constitution has taken leave of his senses - and is, in fact, a certifiable mad man.

The electoral tide started to turn in Trump's favor when he - and his whole team - started round the clock lying about the Biden White House's supposedly bungled management of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton relief.
We live in unprecedented times.
Truth --- which, despite lots of "spinning" on both sides -- had always been an unfailing touchstone, is no longer fundamental to the American political process.
Even Matt Goetz, Marjorie Taylor Green and Lauren Boebert are still in office.
How can this be?!?
And what can be done about it?
In the event Trump wins on November 5th, I say we should be thinking about the possibility of Trump's deposition and a replacement military Junta.
I believe we should be normalizing the prospect of a Milley (et al) junta.

We know that the nation's generals have a sworn obligation to "protect and preserve the constitution from all threats foreign and domestic."
And so General Mark A. Milley, the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (along with every other general and admiral in the United States military) might be obliged to "live up to their oaths" by ousting Trump, a despicable human being who has openly stated his hostility to the Constitution -- a person who has already behaved like a dictator, and promises to be "Dictator on Day One."
Trump is aided and abetted by his Supreme Court (including one appointee who should have been Obama's appointee), a court which has ruled that His Malignancy is not legally responsible for ANYTHING he does (when acting as president), including imprisoning -- and apparently executing -- his political "enemies."
Trump is already speculating openly about putting his "enemies" in prison.
