In the electoral season just ended, I learned that people -- even dyed-in-the-wool liberals, and firebrand progressives -- DO NOT BELIEVE that they can free themselves from everlasting ruse of Power and Money, which is to say: they consider themselves essentially helpless and hopeless, and therefore refuse to support the political activity that could free them (and, indeed, free all of us) from the lock-tight bondage perpetuated by assholes like Trump, Musk, Bezos and Zuckerburg.
The abject surrender of liberals and progressives -- without even putting up a fight -- is a startling lesson indeed.
Furthermore, they don't put up a fight even though Huxley, Deleuze, Buffett, Sanders and others have identified a clear-cut way forward.
To begin with Buffett, who -- in recent time -- is the analyst who has put it most clearly.

(N.B. "In abeyance" means that a sentence is suspended until some future date; in this case after Trump leaves office on January 20th, 2029
If we had acted on these things or -- even now -- if we act single-mindedly on Warren Buffett's clear, incontrovertible advice, we could have created an "October Surprise) that would have catapulted Harris into The Oval Office, and, furthermore, we would have avoided the abomination of Trump taking office with a popular mandate to destroy American Democracy, without ANY eventual payback for crimes that would have beggared the imagination of EVERY American revolutionary.
We are not the "land of the brave and the home of the free."
