Brother Gerald, 2020 ICON Award Winner: "Homeless, Addicted, Poor, And Hungry..." /// "My Family's Transformative Experience With Nuns - The Sisters Of St. Joseph, And The Mercy Sisters"

Alan: My brother Gerald is the most generous person I know.

Here is a brief description of "Arch's" community work and charitable giving as described in the brochure of Rochester Business Journal's "ICON Awards Ceremony," conducted (remotely) earlier this week. https://rbj.net/2020/12/08/icon-honors-awards-2020/ (Gerald's bio is on page 4)

In addition to Ger's formal honors, I have enjoyed a ringside seat at his sotto voce giving -- highly personal, face-to-face, and right "where the rubber meets the road" -- private displays of kindness that are at least as admirable as Ger's pedal-to-the-metal institutional and organizational generosity.

I must also commend the unstinting support of Betsy (Craft) Archibald who has many feathers in her own cap. Betsy has been indispensable to the success of Ger's mission.
