Reply To Good Friend Jim Sanfilipo Who Commented Favorably On My Post Titled: Google just removed this blog post about Charlie Kirk because it "was against community standards." They also removed it from my blog creation "archives." They've censored me before, but never deleted my original document from my archives. Fortunately I still had an open tab with the document "in it."

Dear Jimbo,

I'm glad you enjoyed my post.

I think it's high time that we reconsider dividing the United States into two separate sovereign polities - what we might call "The Two State Solution."

Increasingly, keeping the union together looks a lot like Israel and Gaza.

In the showdown between blue states and red states, guess who's going to get their arse wiped.

Here's what we're up against.

Charlie Kirk: WikiQuote:

Alan: There is nothing - nada, nihil, zero, zilch - to keep Charlie's theocratic heirs from citing the supposedly "inerrant" quote (below) in order to kill children for the mortal sin of going through adolescence.

The God Of The Bible Commands All Men To Stone Rebellious Children To Death. (In The Quran There Is Nothing As Cruel As God's Deuteronomic Demand That Your Own Children Be Killed For The Triviality Of Adolescent Rebelliousness)

I am a democrat and I am a Democrat.

And I believe, as our Founders did, that The European Enlightment, with its focus on individual rights and The Scientific Method is better than Trump's anti-democratic, essentially theocratic autocracy.

This is the crux of Charlie Kirk teaching as it applies to us: Do we want Democracy and other Enlightenment values? Or, do we want to choose either horn of our dilemma - autocratic theocracy, or teocratic autocracy?

Rigid, autocratic religiosity is a very attractive shelter in any storm.

Although Kirk may sound authentically religious, he is a Christian Nationalist - perhaps best categorized as a White Christian Nationalist.

Below, in the words of Rev. James Talarico, you will find a crystal clear assessment of our conundrum.

I hope many of you weigh in however you see fit.

This is a Rubicon moment.

In particular, I hope you will desribe what you "see" in the juxtaposition of Charlie Kirk's theocratically rigid (and often cruel) bible-believing assertions... and the words of Rev. James Talarico.

Short form of Rev. Representative James Talarico's Sermon Against Christian Nationalism

Long Form of Rev. Representative, James Talarico's Sermon

(If you don't know Talarico, it is a fact that Trump-supporting broadcaster, Joe Rogan, has encouraged him to run for president.)

Yes.

Every American should be able to speak their views safely - although, long ago, the Supreme Court ruled that “you cannot shout 'fire' in a crowded theater.”

I wonder...

Is “shouting fire in an inflamed polity” also prohibited?

I make the following observation because its political pertinence is, I think, crucial:

“What better way to distract from The Epstein Files than inflaming political passions around Charlie Kirk's horrifying assassination?”
Trump, who seems existentially terrified of any unabridged release of The Epstein Files, surely knows that a Civil War (or at least ongoing Civil Chaos) would bury the clamor-for-release.

Here's how charlatan-grifter Charlie Kirk fast talks his listeners into thinking that what he says is true, when it isn't.
("Charlatan," by the way, comes from a Latin root word meaning "to chat,"
or what in England they call "to chat up" with the goal of getting into someone's good graces, usually a woman whom you'd like to have sex with, any personal relationship be damned.)
