PBS Interviews Investigative Reporter Eric Lipton Concerning Trump's Second Term Grifting. Please Let Me Know Why You Might Think Lipton Is Substantively Wrong

Shared with Public
I encourage you to watch the first segment of last night's PBS NewsHour (July 1st, 2026).
The opening interview with NYT's investigative reporter, Eric Lipton, begins at the 2:07 mark.
This interview, titled "Profits and the Presidency," reveals (with greater clarity than the New Testament's "Woe Passages"), the villainous corruption that more than half the American electorate voted for when giving Donald Trump a second term.

The Woe Passages (Directed to the Pharisees, who were Jesus' fellow sectarians in ancient Jewry): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woes_of_the_Pharisees

Although the electorate's "glee over corruption" can only be understood by probing the bone-deep, all-encompasing corruption of "Christian" "conservatives" (who are neither), the reasons for the "pep-rally jollity" of these "Christian" "nationalists" over malfeasance, cruelty and malice cannot be plumbed in this brief introductory comment.
Suffice it to say that America's "Christian" "conservatives" who believe in a vengeful, jealous God -- an apparently sadistic God who created the never-ending torture chamber of Hell (without possibility of reform or cessation) -- a God who DEMANDS that every true and faithful believer embody a "divinely ordained" agenda of ZERO COMPROMISE with "the other side of the aisle," has "clearly" pointed out that members of the political opposition SHOULD -- and in fact, WILL, "rot in Hell for all eternity."

Yet we are assured that this "God" loves you with an infinite love. (How about letting the incorrigibly malicious simply pass out of existence? Would that not be more loving, more compassionate -- not unlike "putting down" a dog that hasa "gone bad"?
The Truth that Christian Nationalists "see" in "the Left's" fait acompli Damnation justifies their absolute intransigence, and makes their default reflex of Cruelty not only a moral option, but a moral obligation, cheek-by-jowl with their complete confusion of sedition/treason with Patriotism.
Please watch this 8-minute clip starting at the 2:07 mark, and get back to me with your misgivings concerning the segment's truthfulness.
If you are a "Christian" "conservative," please ask yourself this question: "With the eternal fate of your children in the lurch, would you swear, before God, your had on a bible, that Eric Lipton's account of Trump's corruption is substantively erroneous?"
