If I were Allen Cole, here's how I would defend myself.

The centerpiece of my defense would be that Trump’s cabinet - by failing to invoke the 25th amendment when Trump is literally an anti-Constitutional traitor-mad-man — coupled with the Supreme Court’s refusal to rein in Trump before he completely trashes our democratic republic - are crimes against the American people; crimes against the American Experiment; crimes against the Constitution, and crimes against our Founding Fathers.

The lion's share of Trump's supporters pander to his criminal outrageousness by claiming to be "Christians," and are therefore only subject to the Law of (their grotesquely-ideated, mostly Old Testamental) God.

And therefore they need not offer any allegiance to the Law of Man (often represented as the Law of Ceasar)... the Constitution be damned.

For anyone with eyes to see (and I understand that right-wing Denial runs very deep... chthonically deep... hadally deep), the upshot of Trump's malicious, malevolent behavior is "as plain as Dolly Parton's "show ponies."

Trump is hell-bent on setting up a trans-generational Trump Family Dictatorship, and to that end, he must demolish all substantive vestiges of meaningful democratic process.

His Malignancy (aka Malignant Messiah) -- and damn near all his henchpeople -- will window-dress their villainous, anti-American activities "until the cows come home," or, until Satan surmounts the parapets of heaven - whichever comes last.

American citizens who are imbued with the same rebellious, patriotic spirit as the Founding Fathers when Washington et al started killing redcoats in order to establish a democratic republic, "reincarnate" the necessity - indeed, the obligation - that anyone who wishes to guarantee the Survival of the Republic must plug the seditious, treasonous gap opened up by Trump’s cabinet - and the Malignant Narcissist's lapdog Supreme Court.
