China is emerging with or without Trump. Trump may have sped up the process but we were starting our death spiral long before Trump... the oligarchy determines the direction of the country, not the President.... and Europe is not any wiser than the US- they are heading in the same direction as the US. The interesting thing about all this is that the new foreign policy(not sure if it was part of the 2025 vision or after) concentrates on the US influence in our southern hemisphere with less focus on Europe and the Middle East.... and that is what is happening, although not very gracefully!

David Econopouly Threshold phenomena are real, and often, crucially important phnenomena. If you put a cup of water in a sealed chamber and lower the ambient temperature from 72 F to 32 F, water becomes a solid. If you raise the ambient temperature from 72 F to 212 F the solid form of water becomes a gas. Yes China is destined to become global hegemon. But NOONE expected Trump to "give away the farm"; to actually accelerate the process; to put the United States in a position where they would lose ALL their bargaining power in the transition.
