The Armageddon Cheerleaders who comprise Trump’s Base think they’re all going to be safely swept into Paradise by the Rapture.
And because they posit this recently concocted belief, they see the “end times” as being the one, only and inevitable way out of the mess Netanyahu's lapdog, Donald Trump, has created.
To get a sense of how these "end-timers" have always subscribed to one end-time prophecy after another, every single one of them proving to be nonsense, Google “Millennialism, Wikipedia” and “Christian Eschatology, Wikipedia.”
Millennialism: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennialism
Christian Eschatology: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_eschatology
In the Wikipedia article on “Millennialism,” note that - and I quote - “The Catholic Church strongly condemns millennialism.”
Furthermore, the Catholic Church condemns Millennialism because it is a stupid, dangerous belief that does not correspond to the love and hope embodied by Jesus the Nazarene carpenter-itinerant-preacher.
Christian fundamentalists and Christian evangelicals - particularly those who support Donald Trump - are the mirror image of Islamic jihadis; and these two groups taken together are the most dangerous people on the face of the earth.

Iran's Reply To Impotent Mr. Bombast:
*****
Marshall McLuhan (who taught on the same St. Michael's College, University of Toronto campus where I lived) noted the following sea change in the nature of warfare: "To the spoils belongs the victor."
We now live in an age when "the only thing small, relatively powerless countries need to do in order to win, is NOT lose."
And because the Vietnamese "live there" -- because the Iraquis live there -- because the Iranians live there -- these peoples retain their stake in the "fatherland" -- forever -- by virture of geography and accident of birth.
Americans, on the other hand -- no matter how strong their military --tire of foreign wars, and there comes a moment (typically sooner rather than later) when popular opinion dictates Uncle Sam's retreat.
