I believe that Trump's solipsistic psyche is so profoundly twisted that he is "putting the world on notice of a third world war" because Mofo knows that if he loses, he will not be able to pardon himself, which - in turn - means that Malignant Messiah -- with virtual certainty - will be convicted of heavyweight, industrial strength felonies -- all of them wreaking of sedition (if not treason) -- and as a consequence he will in all likelihood spend the rest of his life behind bars.

And rather than confront real punishment for his real crimes, he would prefer to explode the world so that he never has recognize (nor be responsibile for) his grossly felonious malfeasance.
