Reaching Down The "Conservative" "Christian" Trumpista Rabbit Hole, Trying To Help Friend My Karen Get Out

Dear Karen,

You are wrong.

Yes, we "believe in order to see."

But we need to believe in virtues and qualities -- not Beelzebubbian "factual" lies like those constantly spewed by Malignant Messiah.

This is to say that we need to believe in "essences" like love, forgiveness and compassion, not straight up bullshit like this:

Belief is not seizing upon a hero or a single text with the prior assumption that these fonts of goodness can be relied on as infallible sources.

Trustworthy belief is most likely to result from collaboration, in which we must engage our intellect fully, one important component of which is to read widely -- and deeply -- with our shitometers continually probing whether it's the supposed sacredness of sacred scripture, or the pronouncements of people we've elevated to the status of infallible demigods.

I mean, Karen...

Donald Trump!?!

Of all people, Donald Trump.

Not only does he lie as his default reflex, he tells demonstrable truths with greater regularity than anyone you or I will ever know.

Trump does not disavow the following tweet.

And neither Trump nor his agents try to deny the following "Top 15 Lies..." except for The Big Lie claiming he won the 2020 presidential election.

During and after his term as President of the United States, Donald Trump made tens of thousands of false or misleading claims. The Washington Post's fact-checkers documented 30,573 false or misleading claims during his presidential term, an average of about 21 per day.

Earth to Karen!
During each 8 hour work day, Malignant Messiah -- enthralled by The Prince Of Darkness -- mislead people every 20 minutes.
If you cannot see that believing in a non-stop bullshit artist like Trump is to believe in Falsehood, it is highly likely that you are so far down the rabbit hole -- and have lived there for so long -- that you can't (or, out of shame, won't) break the habit of falsehood. And so, you continue to swear by your chosen Prince of Darkness as the only way to pretend you are in possession of "truth-integrity."

You do not have truth-integrity, my dear.

Trump is a cesspool of incessant falsehood, and you've swallowed his lies, "hook, line and sinker."

By believing that Trump is an apogee of Truth-Telling, you also call into serious question everything your epistemology leads you to believe about Christianity.

Here is how you have aligned yourself with a world class liar who is determined to USE YOU to replace American democracy with a theocratic dictatorship brought into being by "conservative" "Christian" cultists... who are neither "conservative," nor "Christian."

Anyone who fears the punishment of "going to Hell" does not understand the God who is Love.

I encourage you to meditate on the word "punishment" and its relationship to fear.

Compendium: Christian Conservatism, Biblical Literalism And The Unique Hatred Of Yahweh's Command That ALL Men In Any Town Where Rebellious Children Live, MUST Stone Them To Death

Please explain the following Deuteronomy passage to me in terms of biblical inerrancy, and -- while you're at it -- please explain how this moral monstrosity can be considered "the Word of God."

It distills to diabolical viciousness, not only authorizing - but mandating - the killing of adolescents.

Why does it mandate their slaughter?

For the presumed sin of being adolescents.

I am in open rebellion against that false God who shows up all too often in the bible.

But once again, I predict you will not even try to explain the following passage from Deuteronomy, because if there is just one chink in your "perfect" armor, your whole theological system collapses.

A house of cards in a gale force wind...

PS Your fervent conviction that the Bible is inerrantly true (which is how you justify your every thought as God's truth) is not true conviction.

PPS Why do I never learn anything from you?
