Even I demanded that he bring her to trial!!! (Do you really want to re-elect someone who deliberately let Hillary go free - even though he knew she was satanically guilty? Pardon my French, but WTF?!?)
If Jesus of Nazareth were alive, I would both encourage -- and welcome -- his sworn testimony to determine how much of the New Testament he considers inerrantly true. (Try to understand, David, that the particular way I use my brain is to discover truth, much more than to confirm any wobbly suppositions I may have.)
Anyone can amass "evidence" to support their position.
This is what most people do. (I am not exempt from the tendency.)
But this mere accumulation of self-validating "evidence" is precisely why we -- as a people -- are in such deep doo doo.
Waaayyyy too many people amass "evidence" in support of their "ideological babies" without bringing any time-tested, honorable epistemological criteria to bear.
For example, in civil court -- and politics is mostly a civil process -- the evidentiary bar is "a preponderance of evidence."
Sadly, if not tragically, what almost always happens on "the right side of the aisle" is that once a "preponderance of evidence" has been accumulated (as in the case of Trump's election result denial) Mafia Don's partisans immediately discard contrary evidence, thus ensuring that their worldview - and their gnawing quest for security and "certainty" - remain unassailably intact.

I urge you to set aside the bizillion positions you feel obliged to defend, and then to think - just openly think, letting yourself be guided by "the preponderance of evidence" rather than the supposed primacy of "Q's" most recent "drop."
