"Water," A "Deep Dive" Radio Investigation By NPR's "The Takeaway": A Textbook Illustration Of How The Demands If Real Life Shame Pietistic Fantasies

Why "Conservative" "Christians" Are All Going To Hell (If There Is A Hell...Which I Don't Believe)

Alan: This "Deep Dive" by NPR's "The Takeaway" is an incisive study that pries open the slammed shut eyes of people who spend much, if not most of their time and energy developing rationales for doing nothing to improve the lives of people who are "unlike them," claiming instead that God is "all provident" and so there is no need to provide any kind of social service - or social contract - both of which will only make people increasingly dependent and therefore worse off that living in their current squalor.

These "Christian" "conservative" "deplorables" are this generation's un-dead.

Moral and ethical zombies, at least outside "The Church of The Saved!"

They are not really alive, but are active enough to make tens of millions of human lives needlessly miserable, while corrupting their own souls with Trump Cult falsehood and carefully disguised selfishness - so carefully disguised that they've even hidden their egocentrism from themselves.

For all you conservative Christians who swear that "God will provide" IF only people are sufficiently faithful, I dare you to listen to this NPR report on water, watersheds and municipal water supplies, and then ask yourselves why God -- for centuries -- has not done squat to provide water for vast native American communities, and, more recently, the people of Flint, Michigan.

Conservative Christianity is, at its center a scheme to justify personal irresponsibility for nearly anyone outside their immediate family and local church community by claiming that God is unfailingly providential, and therefore they would only get in God's omniscient "way" if they tried to help.
Why "Conservative" "Christians" Are All Going To Hell (If There Is A Hell...Which I Don't Believe)

Christian conservatives cannot tolerate the thought of well coordinated social and political policies that apply across all social sectors -- sacred AND SECULAR -- because political action and central economic planning are deemed antithetical to "faith in God's providence" and therefore, whether consciously or unconsciously, all communitarian efforts are deemed diabolical.

Think back to Barack Obama's first presidential campaign when he was lambasted for being a "Community Organizer" as if such occupation deserved attacked.

I'm here to call bullshit on all that.

"Christian" "conservatives" are neither.
