If their "personal salvation" (perhaps the very source of their unbridled self-centeredness) requires "getting Jesus' attention" by provoking Armageddon -- or by provoking any other violent destruction of the social and political order -- then, "So be it!"
These desparate cultists are -- literally -- "Armageddon cheerleaders."
"Bring it on!"
These end-time enthusiasts are not "the church ladies" of yesteryear.
They are crazed zealots who will "risk anything and everything" to keep their narrow (and narrowing) belief systems ialive.
Once zealous people believe that their opinions (or religious beliefs) are as valid as provable knowledge, all hell breaks loose.
