"19 Miles From Davis" Pitches A New Venue

Greetings,

My name is Alan Archibald.

I sing with "19 Miles From Davis," a mostly rock-and-roll, blues band.

We look forward to playing for you.

Here in Hillsborough, we play at Hot Tin Roof, Nash Street Tavern, special events in front of Hillsborough's Old Courthouse and on WHUP Community Radio

Across the river from Weaver Street Market, we are the house band for El Restaurante Ixtapa's summertime
"lawn concerts."

Mostly we play in Durham and Raleigh and are currently looking forward to our first ever all acoustic performance, October 21st, at Hotel Indigo on Miami Boulevard.

Here are some of "19's" recent rehearsal and performance recordings, starting with our hard rock version of "Jumping Jack Flash" followed by an acoustic version of that same Stones' classic.

And here is a sampler of three dozen songs recorded in concert and at rehearsal.

"Street Fighting Man"
Electric

"These Bones, These Bones"
"Are You Going To Be My Girl?"

"Summertime"

"Say It Ain't So"
("19" is about to record an album of our own compositions. This song is one of them.)

"Evil Ways"

"Give Me One Reason To Stay Here"

"If I Didn't Know Better"

"Susie Q"

"Moondance"

"Feel A Whole Lot Better"

"The Thrill Is Gone"

"Like A Rolling Stone"

"Take Me To The River"

"Valerie"

"Let's Work Together"

We look forward to playing for you.

Gratefully,

Alan (Archibald)
