Replying To A White "Christian" "Conservative" Friend Who Wants Me To Know That "If Anyone At All Has Convinced Me to Support Donald Trump, It's You"

Dear Karen,

I support Donald Trump.

I hope to God that he wins the 2024 nomination.

For if he wins, Trump will induce an unprecedented blue wave in the next election cycle.

Here are a couple of clips that prophesy how that blue wave will go down - and why the red wave did not manifest last week.

1.) Ari Melber on the GOP's mid-term debacle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ccFGVTWDwg (Your own Candace Owen turns on Trump in this clip.)

2.) Lawrence O'Donnell on what's in store for American conservatives who have backed themselves into a corner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPrLfLoJgN0

As you watch Malignant Messiah crash and burn, I realize that you - like Trump and his heart's desire of taking democracy down with him - would welcome a conflagrational Second Coming.

"Conservative" "Christians" (who are neither), feel that the Hell which your God has (supposedly) prepared for all but the 144,000 "saved souls" (referenced in Revelations), justifies the hell which Armageddon (as you see it) would unleash.

When it comes down to ALL the people you feel certain will end up in never-ending Hell, I can easily imagine how scandalized you'll be that I believe in Universal Mercy.

"G.K. Chesterton: On Charity, Hope And Universal Salvation"

It seems to infuriate you that God's mercy may "cover" everyone, just as "love covers a multitude of sins."

You have no trouble that Trump actively advocates "the root of all evil."

"The Love Of Money Is The Root Of All Evil" - An Open Invitation To Christian Conservatives

But if I (or anyone) suggests that God's mercy is infinite, and he will not punish anyone unendingly, that prospect of universal mercy seems to infuriate you, to trigger some fundamental urge for vengeance and cruelty.

Although you've never gone into detail, you seem to have serious doubts if your own "infidel" children will make it through The Pearly Gates.

I find it incomprehensible that you can be so at ease with a God who would God-damn so many people to unending torment.

How To Save "Conservative" "Christians" From Themselves: An Experiment In Reading About Notable Human Beings

I am not joking about any of this.

I am not speaking "tongue in cheek."

The tide has turned.

Trump is toast.

It's all over but for the havoc his vengeance will try to wreak on America - and anyone he considers an enemy, which is to say anyone who does not consider The Donald an inerrant Godsend, whose altar requires abject genuflection.

I do not hate Trump. (Hatred is like swallowing poison in hopes it will kill the other guy.)

However, I do pity Trump.

Malignant Messiah is a sick spirit, raised by a sick father, a man habituated to falsehood, cruelty and vengeance.

As I see it, you manage to justify your support for Trump because your God is also a God of vengeance.

The Hell that your God supposedly created -- knowing that no human (or bloody few) could be saved without divine mercy -- makes me conclude that God's mercy extends to everyone.

Even in C.S. Lewis' tale of The Dawn Treader - The Dark Island, Lord Rhoop who could not emerge from his neverending nightmare was, at last, drugged into peaceful, everlasting sleep.

But not so with you, my dear.

Bring on your hammer and tongues!

Bring on Torquemada's whole dungeon full of inquisitorial torture devices.

Thus will justice be restored!

Only thus!

I do not believe such torment has anything to do with the restoration of justice.

Trying to restore justice by spilling blood is just bloody-minded people wanting to "get even," wanting to make sure that the maximum amount of pain will be delivered forevermore without an instant's cessation.

I do not "side" with people who see neverending torment and torture as Justice.

But you seem cruel enough - and have made your cruelty clear from the moment you signed off on Trump "breaking up" latino families at the border - to want God's mercy certainly for yourself, while being relatively indifferent to "the baby killers" (and other evil-doers), who, in your view, REALLY deserve to roast forever in The Lake of Unquenchable Fire.

Although it is "just" my opinion, I do not pray to your false God.

I do not believe in your Hell.

Eternal torment -- without possibility of surcease -- is torture at its worst.

Just go back to your droning self-justification and your assurance that you are SURELY better than THE BABY KILLERS.

And therefore, God's mercy will obviously extend to you, but not to THE GOD-DAMNED.

PS Don't worry. Your kids are not going to Hell.

PPS Your grandkids may not quite fully forgive you if you don't renounce Malignant Messiah. But you will not end up in Hell. Nor will Trump. Mafia Don may end up like Lord Rhoop, but he will NOT roast forever in The Lake of Unquenchable Fire.

Just so you know.
You have projected on all who believe from our hearts the teachings of Christ Himself what it means to love one another
like He has loved us.
You are yourself guilty of all the hate and prejudice you accuse us of.
Let the Lord Himself judge us all.
One day we will all stand to give our account and none will get past the very Lord Who laid down His life to save His Own.
I am not afraid of that moment He will return to rescue me because I know Him for real.
What child would fear our own father breaking through enemy lines to rescue his own child?
Think about it.
The "doomsday" some talk about as the end of this world and the return of Jesus to rule over it?
It's OUR D DAY!
My prayer is always the same
Who are you praying to?
