Someone observed a Trump it’s introduced a new kind of freedom - the freedom not to care about other people.
But we didn’t get where we got in the last 15 years.
Despite our philanthropy, we haven’t cared about the common good, the general welfare, or anything like an authentically “social” contract in a very long time.
