Allen Sale
It was explained to me that the Old Testament is a combination of Temple rules, Israeli law and Gods law. Not mixing different clothing materials, eating seafood, gossip, etc is Temple law. Was told homosexuality and sex outside marriage are Gods law. If you have had sex outside marriage or gay sex, you have violated Gods law. God still loves you. You are still allowed in church and to take whatever sacrament your denomination allows, but you must recognize your behavior as sin. Not the only part of the Bible I do not come close to following, not preaching. Just pointing out what a person I trust as a reader and faithful follower of the Bible explained to me.

Allen Sale yes, many of the rules were designed to keep the Israelites apart from the surrounding culture but they have come to be interpreted differently and literally.

Jesus was a practicing Jew.
The New Testament is made up of 27 books and only one of those authors, a Greek pagan physician named Luke, was not a practicing Jew.
It was not until 30 years after the crucifixion that Yeshuah's Jewish followers stopped being a Jewish sect and "set up shop" in Rome.
But -- not to get lost in theological and doctrinal "dueling banjos" -- I prefer to focus on the heart of the matter, 1 John 4:18. (See below.)

The Trumps comprise a transgenerational crime family - a true Mafia - and America has been suckered, just like P.T. Barnum said.
The word "mafia" comes from the Sicilian word mafiusu, which means "boldness", "swagger", or "bravado". The word's exact origins are unknown, but it likely comes from a Sicilian-Arabic expression.
