Of course, there are these three complicating factors.
It seems that stupid people are too stupid to know that they’re stupid.
And, to paraphrase Bertrand Russell, “People would rather die than learn, and many do.”
Paraphrasing Fran Lebowitz: “For the first time in a long while, Donald Trump gave people permission to express their prejudice and racism, and they love him for it. People love to hate more than they love their personal well-being.”
And finally, to paraphrase Jimmy Kimmel: A guy goes into a restaurant and asks for a Coke. The waiter, wearing a MAGA hat says: “Are you sure? How about a glass of gasoline?”
