Greetings,

If you think Joe is feeble, senile or "failing," think no more.

The guy is sharp as a tack.

It gladdens me greatly to introduce you to President Biden's recent interview with Howard Stern.

Howard Stern Interviews Joe Biden, Spring, 2024

Tell a friend!

(Or, if not, why not?)

Because of the immense suffering Biden has endured -- losing his beloved wife and daughter in a Christmas Eve car wreck and not knowing for many weeks if his two sons would survive, I have admired Joe since he first came on the national scene.

Anyone who can survive that much trauma -- and come out of the ordeal happy, dedicated, devoted and loving (without a hint of bitterness) is in a league by himself, especially when we consider Joe against the field of tedious, world-weary politicians who are -- with remarkable frequency self-seeking, self-aggrandizing assholes -- that long-suffering, happy man wins not only my heartfelt admiration, but my vote.

I would be remiss if I didn't point out that a parallel "hour and thirteen minute-long interview" with Donald Trump would be an unrelenting exercise in mendacity, bombast, spiteful self-victimization, adulatory self-preening, and unfounded boastfulness.

And I would come away from such a Trump interview not knowing anything new.

Ignorance and stupidity in; ignorance and stupidity out.

Just more highly distilled.

The longer I live, the more convinced I become that Trump's Base - mostly comprised of "Christian" "conservatives" (who are neither) - has done its damnedest to persuade themselves that I and (probably) you are "baby killers" because, only then, does such radical demonization -- "Good Lord, THEY'RE BABY KILLERS!" -- enable them to sling any shit at what they perceive to be The Embodiment of Absolute Evil which, in turn, resides SOLELY "on the other side of the aisle."

It is debatable whether pro-birth conservatives (who oppose abortion under any circumstances) are themselves disproportionately responsible for unnecessarily high abortion rates.

In any event, there is enough reasonable doubt concerning the best way to minimize the incidence of abortion that judicious, level heads will realize that unbendingly rigid pro-birth views do not lend themselves to anyone's ham-fisted pontification, not even the pope's.

Closer to home (and on an unabashedly self-interested level), listen to what Joe has to say in the second minute of this interview with Stern.

Joe's initiative will put money in YOUR family's pocket ... not to mention the money he's already put in your pocket by virtue of your stock holdings' soaring value.

Speaking of which, just four years ago, Donald Trump was predicting economic and financial Armageddon if Biden were elected.

To refresh your memory, check out the following video detailing Trump's apocalyptic predictions -- all of them wrong, nearly all of them antithetically wrong. https://www.cnn.com/videos/business/2021/04/19/romans-trump-biden-stock-market-sot-newday-vpx.cnn
