Two years ago, I spent an entire day just walking around Sagrada Familia Cathedral, soaking it in from different angles.
In 1926, on his daily walk to confession, Gaudi was killed by a trolley. For days, his body - mistaken for an unkempt beggar - went unclaimed in the Barcelona morgue. (I will note that the sacrament of confession was the direct forebear of modern "talk therapy.")
Gaudi’s Wikipedia page is a good introduction to this remarkable man. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antoni_Gaud%C3%AD
The story of his death is published online by Mental Floss.: “Gaudi’s accidental death: why the great architect was mistaken for a beggar.” https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/72482/gaudis-accidental-death-why-great-architect-was-mistaken-beggar
