"Surveillance Capitalism" Explored By "On The Media": "They" Know More About You Than You Do

Alan: If you don't know the phrase, "Surveillance Capitalism," NPR's "On The Media" will bring you "up to speed."
Carl Jung held that there are few perceived threats as frightening as thinking that someone else "knows you better than you know yourself."
Well, my friend...
"Surveillance Capitalism" knows more about you than you do.
And The Beast is learning ever more, all the time... every time you "click" your keyboard!
And with that knowledge, Surveillance Capitalism can dependably influence about half the population to vote they way they want - completely independent of Truth, Reason and Justice.
Sheer manipulation. And mathematically dependable.
Of course, we mere mortals can't even name The Beast because then -- in some QAnonish, conspiratorial, dumbf*ck Trumpist way -- we would be flirting with Socialism.
And from that flirtation, it's just a hop, skip and jump to being like Spain, France, Italy, Holland, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, Ireland, Scotland and Portugal.
Dear God! Forfend!

PS If I were marooned on an island for an indeterminate period of time, the one news source I would choose to have with me (if I could have only one) is NPR's "On The Media." https://www.wnycstudios.org/podcasts/otm
