Every day I engage the same Christian conservative Trump cultists who were disproportionately responsible for putting Malignant Messiah in The Oval Office.
Now these same cultists are fully prepared to back Trump if/when he perpetrates the coup that he is almost certainly pondering.

I will not cut these people any slack.
They represent an existential threat to the survival of the United States.
Our current situation recalls Hitler’s democratic election in 1933 and his immediate transition from the role of president to the role of dictator.
I understand that there are Christians of conservative orientation who are not Trump cultists.
And those Christians are not the problem.
But there are tens of millions — maybe as many as 50 million — “Christian” “conservative” cultists who ARE the problem.
For me, America’s perilous situation is painfully reminiscent of all “the good Germans” who just looked on when they still could have done something.
Instead, smarmy, bourgeois “play-It-safe” accommodationism became the default cornerstone of The Third Reich.

Just today, after Trump’s mid-week rumbling about “not leaving office,” Donald Trump Junior said his father would leave office only if he was “blown out of the water” on November 3rd.
In the 2000 presidential election, Al Gore lost due to a few hundred “hanging chads.”
And now, 20 years later, the criterion for “losing the election” is “being blown out of the water.”
Every day some new monstrosity emerges from Trump World.
But the relentless whirlwind of S___storm leaves us all
impotent, gasping for breath, forced to invest all our time and energy in a never-ending struggle to keep our airways clear.
