I predict that (one of Trump's) October Surprises will be his glitzy announcement that an effective Russian vaccine is available.
Note well.
There will be no solid data about the efficacy of this new vaccine and conveniently there will no time for U.S. data collection before Election Day.
Is it not "curious" that this particular "set of circumstances" converges just in time for Trump to make a "Big Election Announcement" but, again, with no trustworthy science to back him up.
What do we know about this new vaccine from Russian press releases?
Russia claims to have completed clinical testing after administering the vaccine to a total of 38 volunteers. https://health.economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/industry/russia-1st-nation-to-finish-human-trials-for-covid-19-vaccine/76938659
To be clear... (Listen up y'all!)
The Russian vaccine has been tested on 38 people.
Notably, the article cited above makes no reference to the vaccine's efficacy - only its safety.
You know, "safe" ... like sugar water placebo.
The former Soviet news agency "Tass" claims the new Russian vaccine is "safe and effective," but says nothing -- zero, zilch, niente, nada, nihil -- about the vaccine's degree of efficacy, a rather "curious" omission.
Here is the pertinent sentence from Tass' press release: "We see that there is the effectiveness [of the vaccine], the safety is confirmed."
Excuse me! "We see that there is the effectiveness."
You can learn even "less" on Tass' own webpage: https://tass.com/society/1181307
