RNC Shows A Video Clip Of "Biden's America" Complete With Conflagration In The Streets..... Of Barcelona, Spain
President Trump and the Republican National Convention focused on supposed threats from “violent anarchists, and agitators, and criminals,” and the convention offered a video clip of what “Biden’s America” would look like: a horrifying scene of fire in the streets as police ran past. But it turned out those streets were in Barcelona, Spain; it wasn’t Biden’s America or even America at all, just one more lie in a stream of them.

My column today is on Trump’s fear-mongering about chaos if Biden is elected. This is an old authoritarian tactic, and it’s not only false but can actually galvanize some of Trump’s supporters to pick up guns and take the law into their own hands; that’s what allegedly happened when an impressionable 17-year-old Trump fan from Illinois drove to Kenosha, Wis., and shot two protesters dead.
