    If you read your own post David, you will discover that it exhibits a form of fundamental deception that is commonplace on the right side of the aisle. The following article (embedded in "Watching Violence In Black And White") "proves" that blacks are killed equally by "white officers" AND "black officers." However, your posted article does NOT prove what the author intimates, i.e., that whites are killed by American police at a HIGHER RATE than blacks. That is a lie. And it is a particularly diabolical lie (as are many right-wing lies) because it uses deliberately shifty data. The fact that more whites are being killed overall is because there are far more whites than blacks. But "the CHANCES of being killed" are at least 2.8 times higher if you're black. "anecdotes," 2.) "exceptions-to-rules," 3.) "confoudning variables" and 4.) commonplace confusion concerning "absolute numbers" and "numerical rates" from the statistical noise, misleading innuendo and brazen lies that comprise The Right-Wing Noise Machine. Lamentably, I learned a hard lesson from ex-con friend Georgie who, decades ago, was imprisoned at Attica for attempted murder. After years of fact-checking Georgie's forwarded "right-wing emails" (just like I'm now fact-checking for you) which is to say, after years of "correcting" right wing lies, Georgie finally confided: "You know Alan, I admit that you mostly prove I'm factually wrong. But I like being partly right." It is conservatives fondness for finding a few contrarian facts or anecdotes that seemingly justify their ideological obsessions which makes them settle for falsehood over truth. Y'all like being "partly right" - and that makes you substantively wrong. You and your fellows have learned how to trick others into thinking that what you say is true -- and you've even learned how to trick yourselves into thinking that what you say is true. But although there are lies and deceptions on "both sides of the aisle," falsehood in all its forms are nearly ubiquitous among Trumpista conservatives. Just as falsehood oozes like sludge from the open sewer of Trump's mouth. The situation is analagous to conservative pundit P.J. (my memory#?!) Oh yea Michigan State University. But i heard recantly that they are colluding with the Soviets...#!?!... Russians. I can only imagine the white privelidge that people living to the north of China experience. You know Alan , we all will appear before the judgment seat of the Lord Jesus. Remember the Pharisee who's personal claim to "righteousness" was how bad other folk were, and that he was better than alot of them. It was the publican who pleaded "Lord have mercy on me, a sinner." ( you know the Lord's response) Maybe you feel that you have attained moral superiority over half the people in the US. We have seen the SJWs" peacefully" protesting the injustices of white folk and others who refuse to "bow the knee " to them and their way of thinking. I am reminded of what Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. realized lying on a bed of hay in Siberia.

      When we began this exchange, I originally responded the way I did because (as I now realize) I just could not believe that it would be important to you to demonstrate that white and black cops shoot people of color at the same rate.
      I assumed that was a given.
      Unconsciously, I couldn't believe anyone would make an issue of relative lethality while ignoring the CENTRAL ISSUE of LETHALITY ITSELF.
      You come to the defense of white cops, but make no mention that ALL COPS kill people of color at a rate AT LEAST 3 times as high as cops kill white people. And the following article by New Scientist reports that in some communities cops kill people of color 6 times more often than they kill white people.

      The fact that you choose to focus on whether white cops kill people of color as frequently as black cops kill people of color is monstrously twisted right down to the core. Do you not realize that "perspective" and "context" are the most important elements in any quest to reveal the deepest truths.
      Relative to the essential truth that ALL COPS slaughter black-and-brown people as if they were sub-human vermin, the time and effort that you invest in representing white cops as no more diabolical than black cops is pharisaism at its VERY WORST.

      In any event, the particular defense you consciously choose to use when discussing white cops' murderousness is like arguing that all Nazi concentration camp guards incinerated Jews at the same rate, whether those guards were German or Polish. I mean, WTF is The Point (other than distraction, decoy and ideological diversionism)?
      If you think you're going to confront Jesus with your trivial (but technically true) argument that white and black cops killed people of color at the same rate, and not get a Cat-5 blast of TRUTH FORCE whooping you upside the head, just persevere in your twistedness.
      And while you're at it, you may as well persevere in your Anti-Christ support for Donald Trump.

      Now it's time for you to acknowledge: "All cops -- white and black -- are responsible for the fundamental monstrosity of killing black and brown people up to six times as often as they kill white people."
